As our respiratory client approached another congress season, they asked us for ideas to unite the disparate areas of their business unit, give them impact, and remind their audience that they’re a force within respiratory.
Trouble is, fostering genuine engagement at congresses is hard. In a crowded marketplace, it’s even harder.
We know that crafting a congress space with stand out – complimented with genuinely interesting, engaging content – is the only way to avoid empty, dull booths and to deliver strong returns.
So we weren’t just going to deliver booth designs, but craft a cohesive conference experience that runs through every element, creates two-way dialogue, and stays with audiences long after.
It was our mission to both take audience’s breath away by reminding them of quite how amazing the biological process of breathing really is. Something that most of us – unless we have respiratory issues – take for granted.
Our Red Thread:
“We never take breath for granted. And won’t stop until no one is left breathless.”
We fused biology with technology, to create a living, breathing congress experience. Its stunning centre-piece? A pair of giant inflatable lungs that appeared to breathe.
Visitors walk through the LED-arch oesophagus and enter one lung (an immersive 6D disease experience with wind, projection and sound) or the other lung (a bespoke presentation and filming area with inflatable seats).
We’d execute our concept through three distinct steps: attract, engage, and connect. At each step – from well before the congress to long after – we crafted a host of thoughtful and well-themed engagement activities.
