Giving a brand with the power to rule out, a brand that stood out

Challenge

Quantum Imaging was founded to commercialise sensor technology developed by Professor Ben Varcoe, Chair of Quantum Information Science at Leeds University. Their first ground-breaking product Vitalscan, can rule out heart attacks within 5 minutes – saving the NHS an estimated £200 million a year. The problem? The company name and identity couldn’t be trademarked – a real issue for their first product and R&D pipeline going forward.

Our solution?

A full rebrand under the new name Creavo. Latin for “I create”, Creavo was also an anagram of Prof. Ben Varcoe, the company’s CSO. The identity was inspired by space and quantum physics with a vibrant colour palette for stand out.
